Cullowhee is the name of a small town in Western North Carolina, and the home of Western Carolina University where, Terry Edwards, Mike Clark, and Sandy Flynn started a folk trio back in the 1970's. The trio grew to four pieces with the addition of Thom Jenkins, multi instrumentalist and percussionist. Later joined by Rick Hubbard and Woody Jenkins the band became "Cullowhee." The music lives on.
